Lubbock-Con Recap Part 2

Ok so the recap for yesterday and the second half of Saturday is pretty big so feel free to share this with your friends and family whom attended or tag friends when you share it.  I had a blast and thank you again for all the friends and fans that came out.  It was incredible and wouldn’t have been nearly as great without you.  You guys truly warmed my heart so without further postponement, here we go…

Lubbock-Con Saturday Recap

Okay so Internet was a bit of an issue yesterday so I am having to do previous day post recaps instead so here is yesterday’s recap of the con. 

The day h a different come to a close but not after a great day full of great cosplay and wonderful fans.  So let’s take a look at some of that amazing cosplay.

NTX Comic Book Show recap part 2

So sad it’s all over but if you missed it here is a recap of day 2 with shots around the con and more cosplay.  I also got a chance to talk with Carl Potts a while about my thesis and using comics as an educational tool.  He was an awesome guy with a flood of knowledge and resources to give.  It was for sure a highlight for me.  I won’t keep you longer so check out today’s gallery of images and I will see you on the next page!

NTX Comic Book Show Recap part 1

The cosplay really was strong for day one and the line for George Perez never saw an end. Check out some of the incredible costumes and see what the show has to offer today if you have the chance and are in Dallas-Fort Worth area.  If not here is a couple shots of me and our booth plus a long gorgeous look at all the cosplayers.

Dallas Area Fans!

If you are in the Dallas/Fort Worth area then male sure that in 10 days your schedule is clear.  Meteors ‘n Milk will be invading North Texas Comic Con the 28th and 29th!  I will have the last of my stock of the full color 60 page meteors n milk, as well as Suicide Sam, and sketch covers.  Look for D&D studios and I can’t wait to meet my DFW fans!  See you in 10 days on to everyone else I will see you on the next page…

Sometimes we get overwhelmed and have a little too much on our plate.  It’s life right?  I will try to get the next installment of the webinar up tomorrow.  Till then I thought I would share a blank cover I did as a practice run yesterday to get out of a drawing funk.  I learned a lot from it because there are some things I really love and really hate about it but that’s why push forward.  We learn where we need to grow or take more time on and what naturally clicks.  So here it is and I will see you on the next page my friends…

Saturdays HCCC Coverage

Sorry for being late but here is a bit of your Saturday coverage of Hub City Comic Con.

Hub City Comic Con 2

The 26th through the 28th come visit me at the Lubbock Tx Civic Center for Hub City Comic Con 2! Book 1 will be there containing issues 1 and 2 with over 50 pages! I will also have an expanded coloring and activity pack that will be grest fror kids and the kods at heart so dont miss out.  We are only a week and a half away so now is the time to make the plans to come and see me.  I will also have custom meteorsnmilk covers of  Batman, Tmnt and ……. Dr Who!!?!!?!? Things are just getting warmed up so stay tuned for more updates and some leading up behind the scenes.

NikachuCosplay is amazing and these girls have serious talent plus they down to earth and genuine people.  I hope i get to see them more and the amazing work.  No joke check out Nikachu cosplay by clicking right HERE!!!

Hands down this ended the con at the biggest moment for Meteors ‘n Milk as Kel Mitchell gave very kind words about the book and offered this awesome photo. Marc was on cloud 9 as clearly this moment meant a tremendous amount to him.
