Okay so Internet was a bit of an issue yesterday so I am having to do previous day post recaps instead so here is yesterday’s recap of the con.

The day h a different come to a close but not after a great day full of great cosplay and wonderful fans.  So let’s take a look at some of that amazing cosplay.

This wasn’t even close to covering it and here is still a little of photos of go through that will be combined into the next recap post. So don’t miss and if you are local doors open at 11am so come out see us!  You don’t want to miss it!

Road to the 2nd Lubbock Con

First off i wanted to share how amazing the Pokémon Go Art Drop was.  I got to see so many exvited faces light up and see people of all walks of live coming together for this nerdy passion.  I say that because clearly I was more than a little into it.  So here is a little collage from the day.  Also….

Lubbock Con is this coming Saturday and I am running all cylinders to make this the biggest one yet.  Beyond the four books I will have, with their much anticipated release, I will also have the long requested stickers.  I am extremely looking forward to the event and can’t wait to see all the new and old friends and fans.  The stickers will be of the logo you all love below so make sure you come and see me.  I will start posting daily again for a while so make sure to come back tomorrow.   See you on the next page everyone…

Hiatus is Over and Pokémon!

First and foremost I am going to address this hiatus you just experienced.  Between classes, teaching, finals from both sides, con in a week, a partnership I will announce later, having a bed ridden case of Strep, and a poke drop event I have been far from the posts and image creation lately but not anymore.  We are returning to regular posting so count on it.  At this point a number of you local fans are caught up on the… wait…. poké drop?

Tomorrow brings the event back to lubbock so head over to event post on Facebook!  Here’s the link:

Make sure you follow the rules and be share to share with your friends.  The one rule that I strongly ask above all others that you don’t catch them all.  Remember that little kids are hunting for these so don’t be the selfish one that snags them all preventing others from enjoying the event.  If there is an image you really want from me you can always email me at meteorsnmilk@gmail.com I also have one other request if you find me piece.  Please take a picture that you found it *preferably with you holding it and email me the pic or post it/ send it on facebook.  Other than that happy hunting poké fans!

So many things happening!

Alright guys so I know I have been fairly quiet the last couple weeks.  It has been a very busy time with classes I take, classes I teach, books to print and planning for some big events and more.  A lot is going on and you won’t want to miss it so stick with me.  For today I wanted to share that Mooving the Pencil, my perspective comic, is now in hand!  Come back tomorrow to find out how you can get your hands on one.  Till then here is the pics and all that jazz and I will see you on the next page…

I think I am going to need a new shelf for my work soon…

Happy Easter!

No matter what your beliefs are we can all celebrate the commercialized aspects of this holiday by having fun with family and friends that matter most.  Let us all strive for new beginnings and remember to start each day with a fresh new out look.  The future is what we make of it so let us enjoy this moment with a deep breath of joy and remember all the beauty that still is in this world.  Plus we get to eat weird things we don’t normally have as many excuses to eat.  Chocolate with bold eggs and candy?!?!?!?!  See you on the next page everyone!

AotA Has Arrived!!!

I am excited to say that the first batch of Advent of the Archetypes is here!! Keep posted as I will very soon be talking about digital copies that will be much more accessible than before.  I will have physical copies at Lubbock Con but if you can’t wait don’t hesitate to contact me at meteorsnmilk@gmail.com to purchase a physical copy.  I am also working on bringing you a store front shortly so be on the look out for that.  Have a great start to your weekend everyone and I will see you on the next page…

Spring Creature 8

Sometimes the spirits of the forest are what we need to remind us of all the beauty and curiosity that nature brings us.  These beings from the outstanding Mononoke Hime  (Princess Mononoke) are guides that I would follow any day.  The soft, inocent, childlike personification of nature couldn’t do more to bring a heart warming smile.  I am a huge cliche Studio Ghibli fanatic so these guys were a necessary for me to draw at some point.  See you on the net page my friends…

Spring Creature 4

Today’s garden variety friend is this cute little lady bug.  He loves his look but is quite shy around strangers.  He loves the new sprouts though as he images the beautiful things they will grow up to be.  Beauty comes in all shapes and forms so whose to say he can’t be proud to be beautiful if he wants to be?  See you on the next page my beautiful friends…

Spring Creature 3

With all the negativity in the world today and especially in the last 24 hours it is important that we remember to focus on the loved ones around us and those that matter most to us.  It is important that we remember to smile for the children no matter how bad it can be from our perspective.  So today remember to smile for them.  Turn the images of mushroom clouds in your mind to images of mushroom families that love one another.  Spread the love.
I also am excited to announce that Advent of the Archetype has been sent to the printers as well as the black and white remastered 60 page reprint of Meteors ‘n Milk!  They wait is almost over!  I am also closing in on the completion of the 1point perspective book so look for that announcement too.  What are you most excited for?  Keep coming back for more images, comics, feel goods, inspiration, and more and we will see you on the next page…

Spring Creature 2

While spending some time in the garden I was visited by a rather curious house finch.  I watched him get within a few feet of me to eat from our feeder and at times he would turn his head down as if to say hello and chat a bit.  This is a quick attempt to capture a moment of uncertain timidity as he move spot to spot closer.  What will spring bring tomorrow as we will see you again on the next page…

And now for something completely different…

This week I realized might be a good time to post some random different directions of art on the fly the is different than my typical posts.  I want to keep bringing you fresh content without getting boring so here is what that may look like..  and now for something completely different….

As many of you may be aware Star Wars Rogue One is being released in stores.  Many of you may have already seen this display, minus my face of course.

When I see stuff like this I can’t help but first take pics but then also do some quick filters and edit.  So here is today’s  little quirky art piece to be completely different.

Fighting that good fight till I see you all on the next page…
