Who am I?
My name is Marc, and this here is my beautiful family. I am a story-teller by passion. I have been creating stories and comics for over three decades now.
What is Meteors ‘n Milk?
Meteors ‘n Milk found its first breath of life as a series of images involving an alien and anthropomorphic cow in the fall of 2012. The alien, ‘Plebian,’ had been a character I first conceived in the spring of 2011. The character served as both a sort of self-portrait and as a reflection of social alienated members of society. The cow character, ‘Ceva’, was derived from a humorous conversation with my now wife. The character served as an amalgamation of her personality and the cliché counterpart of an alien abduction. Those first images led to a narrative I began sculpting into a children’s picture book. The book took a quick turn into a comic series with over a hundred pages and multiple spinoff series. From there, the name Meteors ‘n Milk became synonymous with any of the comics and artwork I produced and sold at conventions and vendor fairs. In 2016, the brand shifted into a fully registered business based in Texas. Since then, it has relocated twice, once to Hawaii, and then on to Michigan, where it remains today.
So What About Today?
With my growing family, things have shifted once again, and I have found myself returning to my passion for storytelling in a more direct way. 2023 saw the launch of the short story series Michiana Mysteries, with 5 entries, as well as the novelette of Meteors ‘n Milk. 2024 is well on its ways to add several new short stories and a few full length novels as well.
